Careem “Egypt”, the platform specialized in the field of participatory transportation, has announced the launch of the “Wasally” service, which aims to deliver the packages that customers want to send among them.

The "Wasally" service through the application of Careem on the delivery of parcels from one place to another, where a captain from the company receives and delivers the parcel to the desired place, with the ability to track the parcel until its arrival, and pay cash on delivery or by credit cards or a careem wallet to serve these Service Many individuals, especially the elderly, specifically to avoid contact with crowds and gatherings.

Wael Abu El-Ella, CEO of Careem Misr Company, said, "The Wasally" service helps individuals to stay at home, especially the elderly, and eliminate their needs without leaving the house and mixing with others, which also contributes to limiting the spread of the virus.

Abu Al-Ela added that the company is working to implement all precautionary and preventive measures, such as complete sterilization and disinfection of vehicles, and to emphasize the delegates of the need to continuously cleanse the hands, taking into account the safe distance in receiving and delivering the parcel from the customer in order to preserve the health and safety of community members from customers and workers in the company.

Careem made the “Wasally” service available in Cairo and soon in Alexandria, from 8 in the morning until 5 in the evening. Customers can also use the service only through pre-booking.
